Eight Gems of the World

(what?! you didn't think i was going to post this here?!)

Somewhere in a faraway island that no one knows about called Chia, there are eight Gems that make up life and how it's supposed to work. A red one represents love, an orange one represents fire, a yellow one represents light, a green one represents nature, a blue one represents the waters, an indigo one represents science, a purple one represents nighttime, and a pink one represents life.

However, these gems mysteriously shattered one day, causing bad things to happen all over the world. When the red gem shattered, no one could love each other. Shattering the orange gem caused many volcanos to erupt, killing lots of people. All the light, excluding the sun, disappeared when the yellow gem shattered, and shattering the green gem started to make all the plants die. The blue gem, when it shattered, caused tsunamis all around the world, and the indigo gem made chemical accidents and nuclear meltdowns even more deadly. The purple gem, once it shattered, made the night pitch black and there were no stars, and the pink gem corrupted the life cycle, making people die really fast for no reason.

The gems have been shattered into 5 pieces, and have been scattered around the world.

You have been chosen to find these shards and bring the world back to peace.

Character Sheet

Name: Be creative. That's really all I should say.

Age: Be realistic. We don't want a 3-year old travelling out on their own, though that would be cool. Try keeping it around 10-20 please.

Appearance: A picture is recommended, but a descriptive paragraph can work as well.

Personality: Your character's personality. We don't want a bland character- be creative! Also should be at least 7 sentences long.

Backstory: Should be at least 2 paragraphs. Your character's backstories should also include why they wanted to go after the shards.

Name: Foxin Coon

Age: 10

Appearance:

Personality: Foxin is a kind young vulpine. He enjoys helping out others whenever he gets the chance. He’s rather shy and a bit timid at times as well, though he means well. He can be a bit of a coward too, but he means to do the right thing despite it. He has a fear of the dark and storms. He doesn’t like the loud noise of thunder or the bright flash of lightning. He is a bit wary of new people that he’s never met before and it’ll take a bit for you to get him to trust you. He can’t stand bullies or mean people in general as he dealt with those in the past. Once you get to know him enough, he’ll be that friend you’ll have for life, less you do something bad to him. Or his friends. He’s highly protective of friends and family and will do anything to keep them safe. He’s a bit naïve and easy to trick and fool if one plays their cards right with him. He looks up to Ryder, another fox he ran into, despite the older vulpine being a part of crime and an outlaw. He likes to think that he’ll turn his life around at one point and leave his life of crime. The other fox is like a big brother to him and he’s quite happy that he got to meet him and his other friends. He doesn’t like dogs or anything that try to hurt foxes. He’s scared to death of ‘em.

Backstory: This little fox grew up living a mostly decent life. He lived in a normal house with his mother and father. He grew up hearing stories about his grandpa and all that the elderly vulpine did in his younger years. From that moment on, Foxin made up his mind that he wanted to be just like his grandfather. Yet, his family didn’t think that was a very good idea for such a young kit to already be planning to go and do such dangerous things once he grew older. He reassured them that he would be fine. That they were just worrying or nothing. He had his grandpa to teach him the ways after all! And his father too, even if the other didn’t like the idea of his son going and doing things like this once he grew up. He agreed to teach his son and help him out with his goal.

However, that was sadly cut short. A fire broke out in the little home, killing his family members. His mother helped get him to a safe place before she died from taking in too much smoke. From there, he was forced to live on his own and try to make it in the cruel and harsh world. While he was trying to make it on his own, he ended up finding another fox. The other fox took him in and raised him until he felt ready enough to leave her.

After that, he traveled alone for awhile. He thought it would be best to go alone. While he missed being with the kind vixen that helped him, he didn’t wish to bother her anymore than he already had. He already felt like he was overstaying his welcome and didn’t wish for something bad to happen to her. He loved her very much, almost like she was a second mother to him and that was why he left.

While he went and traveled, he heard rumors about gems being shattered and all the problems it was causing over the world. He noticed it too, thinking it was odd that no light was around aside from the side, or how planet life was dying. From there own, the little vulpine made it his goal to try to find all the pieces that he could and restore the world back to where it was before the gems were destroyed.

Items: Hat, badge, belt, and gun.

Other: Orange gem. But he'll try and go after 'em all to save the world. He'll speak in orange too.

Name: Nanako Kato (加藤 菜々子)

Age: 17 (she looks 6)

Appearance: Nanako looks to be rather small for her age, standing at a mere 3'7". She keeps her short green hair neatly tied up in two pigtails that are held by lemon-colored bands. She always wears a dark green dress with a white shirt underneath.

Personality: Nanako is a very shy and meek girl. She usually does not want to do anything because "she might get hurt". Her small size also makes people forget about her often. However, she does like to enjoy a laugh at times. She always enjoys jokes and playing with her stuff. This is one of the few times she likes to be around others. All other times she would just stay in her room.

Backstory: Nanako led a fairly normal life in the Akihabara prefecture of Japan with her mother and her 9 sisters. She was the eldest sister. Her father had died shortly after her 14th birthday. Life was ok for her until...

One day a random tsunami came out of nowhere and ravaged the entire town that she lived in. Her entire family survived, but the only things that survived were Nanako's toys, her phone, and a couple dining utensils. Everything else had been ruined by the rapidly rising waters. So she decided to leave one morning and find out what the cause of the tsunami was.

Items: Her stuffed rabbit that she got when she was 5, a couple knives from her kitchen, and her phone.

Other: Blue gem all the way (though she will go for the others as well). Also, she will speak in this greenish-yellow color.
